FDA & CE Certification
Durability, Chemical Resistance & ROHS
No change in Anti-bacterial activity & no harzardous substand was found.
Durablity & Chemical Resistance
Testing Method: 1,000 times of strong rubbing test with 83% purity alcohol that is far stronger
than normal cleaning agent/detergent
Result: No change in antibacterial activity. It proves both excellent durability & chemical resistance.
ROHS
No harzardous substance was found.
It proves the product is eco-friendly and harmless to the human body.
How does It Work?
Silver compound de-activates the viruses & bacteria
Effects of silver ions on bacteria
1) Silver ions are incorporated into the bacterial cell membranes and bind to membrane proteins responsible for transport of substances in and out of the bacterial cells.
2) Silver ions are also transported into the cells and will block cell division by binding to the DNA.
3) Silver ions will block the bacterial respiratory system and thereby destroy the energy production of the cell. In the end, the bacterial cell membrane will burst, and the bacteria will be destroyed.
Effects of silver ions on viruses
There are two ways the AgNP interacts with the pathogenic virus:
1) the AgNP will bind to the outer coat of the virus thus inhibit the attachment of virus towards cell receptors and
2) the AgNP will bind to the DNA or the RNA of the virus thus inhibiting the replication or propagation of the virus inside the host cells. The below show the antiviral properties of AgNPs towards different types of pathogenic virus.
